Printing using NX2

Just did some printing using NX2 and NEF files. I'm impressed with the outcome. One thing I had to do was rotate the photos to the portrait mode as for some reason the printer wouldn't accept the landscape command . It was no problem once I figured out what was going on.

Not sure what takes place between the NX program and printer when printing NEF's. It could be the file is converted to a tiff or jpg internally but the colors sure comes out nice. Think I will start using it over PSCS2 for printing as it saves a couple steps.

That is interesting John. I have an Epson R800 that I have not used since the original ink ran out. I just could not afford to replace the ink! Do you know anyone who would like to buy an almost new printer?

I print all of my images through my SmugMug account. They do a great job. But then, maybe I don't have too high of expectations!
